Regular Membership

Join the American Planning Association as a regular member. Your national dues include membership in the Washington Chapter.

Student Membership

Student members of APA receive all the benefits of membership at a special dues rate.

Planning Board Membership

Planning commissioners and appointed and elected officials are invited to join APA at a reduced rate and receive enhanced services designed to support you in your planning role. Visit www.planning.org/join/commissioners for more information.

Chapter-Only Membership

Citizens who desire to make their community a better place to live are invited to join APA locally as a Chapter-Only member. To apply: Write CHAPTER-ONLY across the front of a regular membership application form & submit the form and membership fee ($75.00) to the National APA office. See the National APA website for the application form and mailing information. 

Chapter-Only Group Membership

Only available to Planning Commissions, County Commissioners/Councils, City Councils, Tribal Councils and board members of non-profit organizations and other professional organizations. A maximum of 10 individuals is permitted. Group members do not have voting privileges. Group Membership Form (PDF).

Note: APA membership (national level) includes Washington Chapter dues. If you are already a member of APA and intend to stay a member, you do not need this application. Contact APA for membership renewal information.
