Student Scholarship Auction
We kindly request donation items for our auction to raise college scholarship funds at the 2011 Joint APA Washington / APA Oregon Conference. The auction will be held during the Conference networking reception the evening of October 20th. This year’s conference theme is: Cascadia Collaborative: Bridging to the Future. This conference will bring hundreds of participants from Washington, Oregon and beyond to the Oregon Convention Center in Portland, Oregon, on October 19-21, 2011.
In order to continue to fund the annual college scholarships for planning students, we need to raise additional funds. Donation items can be large or small, such as wine, sports memorabilia or items of clothing, and personalized experiences such as dinners, vacation home stays or guided tours make great donations.

We will acknowledge our donors by recognizing them publicly at the event and in the Washington Chapter Newsletter. The suggested donation is $100.
Our scholarships provide a critical link between our future planners and APA. The tough economy has been hard on everyone, including students. On behalf of Washington APA, thank you for your consideration, and we look forward to your participation in what promises to be a great joint conference!
