2012 Annual Conference

Thursday, June 7 and Friday, June 8
Elkin’s Resort at Priest Lake, Idaho

Navigating Change: What is the New American Dream?

How can you help your community respond to a rapidly changing world today? How well do you know the future residents of your community? Experience how planners can "rehearse the future" and minimize risk in a time where social and economic change and uncertainty are high and a shared American Dream seems like an illusion.

In this two-day conference, we will become familiar with the indicators of change, explore the challenge of identifying meaningful trends, and learn how we, as planners, can develop the strategies needed.
